Microsoft and EA released the NCAA Football 2007 demo and then today the released the Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth II demo. An even bigger surprise.
The NCAA demo is only 1 minute quarters and only features FSU and the Gators but it was fun. Now if I could only get $60 to pick up the game next week I'd be happy. Maybe I'll get lucky and an EA worker is a BIG fan and wants to send me the game free of charge so I can review it. Eh? Come on EA.
I didn't download the LotR: BfMEII demo as I picked up the game last week. I haven't gotten deep into the game, only 2 levels. But from I did play it was fun and it worked. Someone finally got a RTS game to work on a console and actually get it to work really well. I enjoy the game and recommend it to anyone who's a fan of RTSs.
But if you're still hesitant, then download the demo. As soon as I finish closing all of these damn Oblivion gates I'll get back to Lord of the Rings and give a full review then.
